J'ai toujours été fascinée par les bateaux. J'adore l'idée de vivre sur l'eau, de flotter, de vivre en harmonie avec la nature, mais par dessus tout c'est l'organisation rationnelle des espaces qui me fascine. Cette incroyable capacité à organiser tout confort moderne dans des espaces extrêmement réduits. D'ailleurs je me suis toujours demandée pourquoi on ne faisait pas la même chose pour des appartements de taille identique (peut-être les architectes qui lisent ce post seront en mesure de répondre). Ceci dit, la décoration des bateaux a rarement été à mon goût. Jusqu'à aujourd'hui. Jusqu'au véritable coup de coeur pour ce bateau australien. Le bois clair; le mobilier design et raffiné; la décoration épurée, moderne et intemporelle. Le paysage autour et le décor invitent à des vacances paisibles, au rythme de l'eau et j'aimerais bien échanger ma chaise de bureau avec le fauteuil Butterfly en cuir sur le pont. I love the idea of living on water, of floating, of living in harmony with nature, but above all what attracts me the most is the rational organization of the indoor space. This amazing ability to put all modern comfort into an extremely small space. And I've always wondered why we can't do the same for small apartments (maybe the architects reading this article might know the answer). This said, I rarely like decoration on boats. Until today. Until the crush I had for this Australian boat. The light wood; the elegant design furniture; the minimalist, functional, modern and yet timeless decoration. The landscape all around and the decor inspire peaceful holidays at the pace of the water and I would exchange my desk chair with the leather Butterfly armchair on the deck right away.
