Je vous l'aviez promis et voici la suite de la Joyeuse Clique. Aujourd'hui je vous montre mes trois différents travaux de stylisme. Il fallait mettre en scène des étoles et plaids chauds et hivernaux pour le catalogue printemps/été de la marque Brun de Vian-Tiran, une marque locale avec 200 ans de vie derrière elle. L'héritage provençal était au coeur de mon projet. Je me suis inspirée des soirées fraiches, aux températures douces avant que les cigales commencent à chanter, au ciel étoilé qui nous invite à prolonger la soirée à l'extérieur avec un joli plaid chaud qui nous enveloppe.
It is high time I gave you the last post of the Joyeuse Clique. Today I show you my three different stylings. We had to stage warm and wintery stoles and blankets for a Spring/Summer catalog for the Brun de Vian-Tiran brand. A local brand with 200 years of experience behind it and the provençal heritage was at the heart of my project. I was inspired by fresh evenings, cool temperatures before cicadas begin to sing and when the starry sky invites us to linger the evening outside with a warm blanket wrapping us up.
Le choix des deux plaids, aux couleurs très différentes, prenait en compte les accessoires que j'avais mis de coté au préalable à la Maison Pernoise. Néanmoins, produire un catalogue nécessite une vision cohérente et dix personnes interprètent les consignes de façon différente. Au bout de deux heures, Anouk Brands, la talentueuse styliste qui dirigeait le workshop, avait révolutionné l'idée que chacune de nous s'était faite du travail à accomplir et on a dû le repenser pour qu'il soit plus en ligne avec la vision qu'elle était en train de donner à chaque stylisme qu'elle manipulait.
The choice of the two blankets in two different colors was suggested by the props I put aside earlier at the Maison Pernoise. Nevertheless, producing a catalog requires a consistent vision and ten people read into the instructions in ten different ways. Two hours later, Anouk Brands, the talented stylist who led the workshop, drastically changed the idea each of us had of the work to carry out. We then had to rethink it in a way more in line with the vision she was giving to every styling she handled.
L'après-midi avance, la lumière baisse et mon projet déménage à l'intérieur et change de nature. Il devient plus épuré et plus statique. Je renonce au plaid rose mais je continue à travailler avec une palette de couleurs pastel, en gardant une partie des accessoires. Au final le résultat est très loin de mon point de départ, mais il est plus cohérent avec le projet du catalogue. La nuit est tombée au moment où on donne la touche finale avec Anouk. Je n'ai pas pu profiter d'une très belle lumière comme pour les autres photos. J'attends patiemment de voir les photos de Marjon Hoogervorst et je suis certaine elles seront magnifiques. The afternoon moves forward, the light falls, my project moves indoor and drastically changes. It becomes more uncluttered and more static. I give up the pink blanket but I keep a pastel colour palette keeping some of the props. The final result is far from my starting point, but it is more consistent with the project of the catalog. Night has fallen as we give the final touch with Anouk and I don't have that beautiful light anymore as for the other photos. I will have to wait for the pictures Marjon Hoogervorst took and I am certain they will be stunning. In the meantime you can have a look at the evolution of my work. And I'm pretty curious to have your point of view ♡
