I have been away from my desk the whole week.
I was busy putting together the last furniture received and
making our apartment a cozy home again.
I am quickly back today to show you the first of the three packages
I received yesterday in the mail. All fully equipped in design!
Last August I took part in a giveaway presented by Igor on his Happy Interior Blog.
The truth is I rarely take part in giveaways but
this one had some BoConcept candleholders I've wanted for a long time
and never took the chance to get them.
I was very much surprised (and happy) when I got Igor's email telling me
I was the lucky winner for them.
I love their shapes, the light wood grain,
their colors, the lime green and bright light blue and the indigo.
I still haven't found the perfect spot for them at home.
For the moment they watch me while I work and I'm pretty happy with that.
elsewhere than in the kids' room?
Well that's a start.
There is no better way to get a new color at home than to start with accessories.
You see how it works at home and how it fits in with what you already have.
Next step will be buying a piece of a furniture and/or painting a wall.
One thing at a time.

J'ai été loin de mon bureau toute la semaine, bien occupée à monter les derniers meubles reçus et à transformer notre appartement en un nid accueillant.
Je suis de retour aujourd'hui pour vous montrer le premier des trois paquets reçus hier par courrier. Tous entièrement design!
En août dernier j'ai participé à un tirage au sort présenté par Igor sur son Happy Interior Blog. Je dois avouer que je participe rarement à ce type d'initiatives mais cette fois-ci il y avait 3 bougeoirs BoConcept que je voulais depuis longtemps, mais je n'avais jamais eu l'occasion de les avoir. J'ai été très surprise (et heureuse) quand j'ai reçu le mail d'Igor qui m'annonçait que j'étais la chanceuse gagnante.
J'aime leurs formes, le grain du bois clair et leurs trois couleurs, le citron vert, le bleu clair et l'indigo.
Je ne leur ai pas encore trouvé l'endroit idéal à la maison. Pour l'instant ils m'observent pendant que je travaille et ça me plait beaucoup!
Je n'avais pas dit que j'étais prête à ajouter du bleu à la maison ailleurs que dans la chambre des enfants ? Bien, c'est un début. Il n'y a pas meilleure façon d'avoir une nouvelle couleur chez soi que commencer par des accessoires. Vous voyez comment ça marche chez vous et comment la couleur s'intègre avec ce que vous avez. La prochaine étape sera d'acheter un meuble et/ou de peindre un mur. Une chose à la fois.
